“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19
When I reflect on my needs, I realize how often I try to meet them through my own strength. I hope that my charisma and effort will move things forward, but when rejection comes, it stings even more. The more I rely on myself, the heavier that burden feels.
But God invites us into a different way—one of trust. When we put forth our best effort and release the outcome to Him, we can rest in the assurance that He will provide for all our needs.
Prayer Prompt: Where am I striving in my own strength? How can I surrender that to God today?
